"Agents of Entropy" CD |
Trying to describe Fullblown is like trying to describe surviving a tornado. There is so much going on, it's hard to know where to start.
You could talk about the walkin'est walking bass you've ever heard. You could talk about Dave setting his arm on fire. You could talk about the reverbed out-twang attack of John's guitar, or about Eric behind the drums, pushing the whole thing forward at frightening speeds.
But as the Zen masters say, to look for the Bhudda is wrong, since the Bhudda is everywhere. But to look for the Bhudda is also right, since the Bhudda is everywhere. It's hard to put a finger on exactly what made this band so special, but all I can say is- their music makes me happy. Like a B surf movie soundtrack gone chainsaw massacre, it makes me HAPPY!
Dave of course, went on to form the Carsinogents, Eric and John started the fabulous Sound of Rails, and Mike plays bass in all the other bands in Omaha, including the Monroes.
