Back a long time ago, the phrase "Rock and Roll" used to mean something.  Before everything became genrefied, before those words became a lame rallying cry for drunken jar heads and arena rockers ad nauseum, rock and roll was a wild beast.  The music was precieved as dangerous to the status quo.  The Carsinogents brought those days back in their full infamy, with frontman Dave Electro's rump shaking, fire blowing, table climbing, mike swinging stage act, the driving boogie of the rythm section, a heaping dose of horror movie organ, and some raunchy rockabilly (more rock than billy!) guitar.  The band finally did us all a favor and waxed an album of tunes that truly captured the energy of their live shows.  As you bask in the warmth of these flaming grooves, you might even catch yourself ducking to avoid that swinging mic stand! The band has called it quits, but Dave now plays organ in The Terminals, drums in The Box Elders, and Chris and Mark play in Virgasound. Mark also drums in No Blood Orphan.
