Entertainment was a group of expatriate Nebraskans who relocated to Chicago.  The group's name and the sound behind it spawned obvious Gang of Four comparisons, but there was something a little darker going on behind those dance rhythms, unhinged guitars, and keyboard trickery.  Picking up where groups like The Stranglers and Devo left off, these guys put the ROCK back into the cliche "dance rock", and then proceeded to stomp it to death. Comprised of members of such bands as D is For Dragster and Truck Johnson, these potty ex-Nebraskans set sail for the west coast shortly after the realease of SPEED! 400, but the volitility that provided the spark for the band was unfortunately also it's undoing.  The band called it quits shortly after returning home to Chicago, with each member of the band moving on to various projects, including Murdered, The Red Eyed Legends, The Box Elders and Submarine Races.
